I don’t have sewerage for draining rinse water – how can I solve this?
Sewerage is necessary both for professional water treatment systems and drinking water filters. There are cartridge filters that don’t require drainage, but their application is limited. If the water is contaminated, we recommend
installing a septic tank and using full-fledged filters.
Will there be salt in the water after softening?
No, the salt solution is discharged into the sewerage.
How much salt does the system consume per month/year?
It depends on the model and the volume of treated water. We can calculate the theoretical salt requirement based on average consumption. The actual amount can be determined after a certain period of operation.
Why is it so expensive?

What if the system breaks down? How does service work?
Contact the seller or us directly. For diagnostics, the filter’s operating statistics are used – so don’t disconnect it from the internet.
What will be the operating costs after installation?
Due to the individual approach, it’s difficult to determine the exact amount. We can provide theoretical data and reminders about scheduled maintenance.
How many years does the water treatment station work?
Systems can serve for many years – it depends on the quality of incoming water and the stability of the power grid.
After installation, water quality has deteriorated – what should I do?
The system settings need to be adjusted. In iBregus solutions, this can be done remotely. Contact the seller or us. We recommend repeating the water analysis.
How often does service need to be performed?
The lifespan of cartridges in cartridge filters ranges from a month to a year, depending on the contamination level. Materials in tanks serve on average 7-10 years.
Is reverse osmosis alone sufficient?
A drinking water filter has limitations – it cannot be installed on well water with exceedances. Its capacity is sufficient only for drinking needs.
Can filters be installed in stages?
It’s possible, but the result may be incomplete, or materials will wear out faster. We recommend consultation with our specialists.
Why does my neighbor have one column, and I need several?
We are responsible for water quality and system operation. The solution is based on the analysis of your specific water, required capacity and financial capabilities. Often neighbors have different water due to different well depths.
Will there be a subscription bill?
No, unless the paid service “Bregus Assistant 24/7” is activated.
WATER ANALYSIS
Why is water analysis needed?
Analysis is necessary for proper selection of filtration equipment. Based on the results, capacity and technical parameters, the specialist selects the optimal system.
Can water composition be determined without analysis?
No. Visually, only some contaminants can be recognized, but not their concentration. Many compounds are invisible but can be harmful.
How much does water analysis cost?
The cost depends on the laboratory and the scope of research. It’s important that the result has the laboratory’s stamp – this is a guarantee of reliability.
Where can I get water analysis done?
At state or private specialized laboratories.
Which water parameters are most important when choosing a filter?
Hardness, iron, pH, manganese, oxidizability, nitrates.
How to properly collect water for analysis?
If you use the well constantly – run the water for 5-10 minutes. If it’s a new well – 4-6 to 24 hours, sometimes up to two days. Use a bottle from mineral water, rinse it with the same water, submerge it completely so no air gets
in – this is critical for iron analysis. Seal tightly and deliver to the laboratory as quickly as possible.

I have yellow water from the well – what filter is needed?
You need to do a water analysis, contact our specialist and purchase the appropriate system. For iron removal, iBregus ED and iBregus PRO ED systems are used.
The water is clear but has an iron taste – what should I do?
The same – analysis, consultation, selection of iBregus ED or iBregus PRO ED system.

What to do with hard water?
For water softening, iBregus SB and iBregus PRO SB systems are used. Depending on the analysis results, additional equipment may be needed.
I have hard water – already changed the boiler three times.

At the water pipe entrance to the room where treated water is used. For tap water – after the meter.
How much space is needed for installation?

Is sewerage necessary?

What water pressure is needed?
From 1.5 to 4 bars.
Can the filter be installed independently?
Yes. It can also be done by a plumber. The filter comes with installation and startup instructions.
Does the filter work without electricity?
No.
What to do if there’s no internet at home?

What is filter regeneration?
It’s the rinsing of filter material to restore its properties. Usually performed every 2-5 days.
Can the system be serviced independently?
Replacing cartridges in cartridge filters is simple. During the first replacement of filter material, we recommend using our service.
Where to buy salt for the filter?
From us, in hardware stores, or directly from the tablet salt manufacturer.
How much salt does the system consume per month?
Depending on the model and water consumption. iBregus systems save about 20% salt, and iBregus PRO – even up to 4 times more.

How does the mobile app work?
The user panel shows the system’s operation online, consumption statistics and regeneration information. There’s a button for forced regeneration start.
Can the filter be controlled from a phone?
Yes, iBregus systems allow changing settings, starting regeneration and controlling additional equipment.
What to do if the phone breaks or the internet disappears?
You can log in from another device. Internet can be connected via mobile hotspot.
